This is the genuine SQ1936RRH2 remote controller. It features 10 buttons and utilizes a 5-pin male connector. It controls the backrest and footrest up/down movement, vibration massage, and heating.
This remote controller is compatible with select two-motor recliner/lift chairs from Journey.

Compatibility

This remote controller is not cross-compatible. To confirm compatibility, check the serial number on the barcode sticker on the remote controller. If the barcode sticker on the remote controller is faded, you can also turn the chair over and find a matching barcode sticker on the control box.

Some issues are caused by the vibration motor or heating element; replacing the remote or control box will not help. Before purchasing, troubleshoot as follows: Carefully turn the chair upside down. Disconnect the plugs for the vibration motors and heating pads and check whether the backrest/footrest movement is restored: If movement is not restored, the remote or control box is likely faulty. If movement is restored, one of the disconnected plugs is faulty. Reconnect them one by one until you identify the faulty plug, and leave that plug disconnected. If you are unsure whether the fault is caused by the remote or the control box, replace both the remote and the control box (second option in the listing) to avoid issues caused by replacing only one.

- Back ↑: Raises the backrest.
- Back ↓: Reclines the backrest.
- Chair ↑: Raises the seat and backrest toward a standing position.
- Chair ↓: Lowers the seat and backrest toward a flat position.
- Foot ↑: Raises the footrest.
- Foot ↓: Lowers the footrest.
- Massage:
  - Mode:
    - Press once for pulse (blue).
    - Press twice for wave (green).
    - Press three times for constant (red).
    - Press four times to turn off the massage.
  - Intensity: Low (blue) – Medium (green) – High (red).
- Heat:
  - Press once for low heat (green).
  - Press twice for high heat (red).
