It was the right control but was shorter in length than the original one purchased with my chair.
The remote works and was not TOO hard to install. The problem with the product was that some of the buttons operated different parts of the chair than what the button label said. A response from Life Easy Supply was, "That happens sometimes."

The controller works perfectly! Easy installation,too!!!
1st: it is NOT the 90 degree plug! it is the straight plug with an adaptor!
2nd: the plug does not securely snap into place. We had to zip tie it.
3rd: the cord is about 2 ft. shorter than the original! VERY short!!
4th: the buttons are backwards! push up and your feet go down!
the same with the back - push up and the back goes down!
Does it work - Yes. that is the only "benefit"!

The functions of the 4 blue buttons are reversed on the new remote. It's very annoying but can be put up with.

The control buttons on the unit are reversed. The seat buttons move the back and the back buttons the seat. Since there is only one way to plug the unit in the problem must be in the wiring. Also, it is very warm much warmer than the original unit.

There are 13 LED beams inside the remote controller, which generates heat. It is normal that the remtoe cotnroller fells warm. However, if you feel it is over heat, it means there is a short circuit in the electric system of the chair. You can test each components with a multimeter.
The function of the buttons could be revised with your original remote controller due to potential wire sequence difference.
