I purchased 2 motor lifts foe a lazy boy sofa. I bought one at a time as they are not returnable and I wanted to make sure I was getting the correct part. The first one installed without a problem and has been working fine for about a month. The second one arrived 2 weeks later and the female connector for the sofa control 6 pin plug was not aligned, so I replaced the original motor cover with the one from the old motor and it worked for about a week. Now the motor stops about 3/4 of the way up and the plastic gear makes a horrible "slipping" noise. Will live with it .
