This remote controller is suitable for the following models:

  • 4892 Longevity series: 1792-28/2792-28; 1792-29/2792-29
  • 4896 Cosset series: 1166-89/1266*89

 

Features: 

  • The remote controller has 11 buttons, it operates the backrest up/down, footrest up/down, chair raise/down, vibration massage ON/OFF and intensity, heating ON/OFF
  • The remote controller has a white color backlit, it will turn on when you press the button.
  • The remote controller's plug is 8 pins.
  • The control box (junction box) is included, the control box has 8 wires & plugs, connects 1 remote controller, 2 up/down motors, 2 vibration motor sets, and 2 heating pads.

Exactly what we needed!

Great price, excellent customer service. My father has a lift chair and the cord for the remote wore out over time. The chair was non functional without a working remote. This remote is the exact model. It shipped from China but still arrived within a week. The new remote came with a control box and wiring to the back of the chair. We tried just swapping the remote and not the other components but that resulted in only half the functions working. Customer support helped us troubleshoot and advised us to swap the entire control box, not just the remote. Once we did that everything on the chair was fully functional. My dad is thrilled!!

Exactly what we needed

When my lift recliner stopped working properly (the back would raise but not lower), I searched for a replacement pendant control. I found this item, which included the control box. Just replacing the pendant did not fix the issue - so after a few weeks I bit the bullet, flipped the chair over and began the process of removing the old box and replacing it with the new one. I am pleased to share that everything fir exactly as it should, and my chair is now 100% functional. Thanks!!!

Replace remote control

Didn't take long to get the new remote control. It wasn't to hard to install, works great again.

Works great, but...

You may not be able to just plug in the remote and have it work. I had to change out all the wiring and the control box. Be prepared to mark what wires you need to connect as the wires in my chair were not marked. If you can wire an electrical outlet you shouldn't have any trouble. If not contact your furniture dealer.
