This is the genuine MLSK89-A2 hand remote control, it is compatible with several Catnapper power recliner/lift chairs. If your remote controller has the same model number, this one will replace yours perfectly.
The remote controller has six buttons, it controls the backrest raise/recline, seat lift up/down, legrest up/down.
The remote controller has a USB charging port on the top, with a 5V 2A output, you can use it to charge your mobile devices.
The buttons are Illuminated: makes it easy to operate in the dark nights
Industry standard five pin plug.
An extension cord is included.

Notes:

Avoid using a battery pack to power the chair without connecting to wall outlet, the USB port and backlit will drain the battery quickly if the battery does not connect to the power source.
In rare cases, button functions may be revised from your original remote (for example, the button that ought to control the headrest actually operates the footrest). This is due to variations in internal wiring and not a defect.

I am SO happy. I did pick the correct remote (it had 5 pins but I didn't have a model number so was still a little unsure...) and it works great. The best, for me, is that the cord was just a plain electrical cord - the original remote that came with the chair was "curly". And this is what caused me to ruin the original remote. I have an end table next to the chair, and because my house is so small, the two items were pretty close to each other. The end table has a glass top, and the curly part of the remote cord would continue to get caught underneath it. Unfortunately, I yanked on it too hard, too many times, and pulled the cord from the contacts in the guts of the remote. I could still use it, but you had to wiggle the cord around so the wires made contact again, so it would operate. It also arrived a day earlier than projected - another bonus! Thanks so much!
