Fixed my entertainment recliners!

When one of my reclining sofa sections started to fail after 11 years (sofa in great shape, just a mechanical problem), I thought it would probably be the motor going bad. I turned them over and saw it was either the motor or this switch. I tried plugging in another switch from one of the working sections, and was able to isolate that the switch was bad. Replacing the switch took some care to keep the cables well organized, but it ended up being just unscrewing the professional wiring guides and carefully repacking. One of the other switches started acting flakey, so I got a second, and now both are fixed and working like new. Should extend the life of my sofa more years. Pretty impressive that this part is widely used and still existed after 11 years. I'm very satisfied that this worked out, and if your recliner is worth keeping and starts to fail to recline, check this out and consider this alternative DIY.
