The KDH139‑Y001 is a 5‑button remote controller designed for adjustable bed bases with two motors.
Compatibility
This remote is model‑specific and is not cross‑compatible with other models. It should be ordered only as a replacement for an existing remote that bears the exact model number KDH139‑Y001.
Note:
- This remote control requires three AAA batteries (not included).
- Before the first use, you will need to pair the remote with your bed's control box. For details, please refer to the pairing instructions below.
Pairing Instructions
Scenario A – Control Box with a Pairing Button
- Press and hold the pairing button on the control box for about 3 seconds. The control box enters pairing mode.
- The pairing button's LED starts flashing. Pairing mode remains active for 15 seconds.
- Within those 15 seconds, simultaneously press the head‑up button and the leg‑up button on the remote and hold them for 3 seconds.
- Successful pairing is confirmed by a single beep from the control box, after which the pairing LED stops flashing.
Scenario B – Control Box without a Pairing Button (Power‑Cycle Method)
- Disconnect power from the control box for at least 5 seconds, then reconnect the power.
- The control box automatically enters pairing mode (the pairing LED, if present, will flash). This mode lasts for 15 seconds.
- Within those 15 seconds, simultaneously press the head‑up button and the leg‑up button on the remote and hold them for 3 seconds.
- Successful pairing is confirmed by a single beep from the control box, and the flashing stops (if an LED is available).
Important Pairing Rules (Applicable to Both Scenarios)
- Maximum remotes per control box: 2.
- Overwrite rule: Pairing a third remote erases the first remote's pairing.
- Power‑off memory: Paired remotes remain stored after a power loss; re‑powering does not clear them.
- Simultaneous operation: Only one remote can operate at a time. The second remote can work only after the first enters standby.
- First and second controllers: After pairing the first remote, repeat the same process to pair the second remote.
- Single remote: When only one remote is paired, only its functions are active.
