The HX90HU can also replace the following models:
- HX90HUMJ with a model code of "90HUMJ"
- HX90HUG with a model code of "90HUG"

It seems that the person who replied to my review thinks that I am dumb enough to use the HX90HU panel for a lift chair. No sir, this panel is made for the La-Z-Boy right armed sectional recliner chair. The arrow direction on the button above the USB port distinguishes between left armed (HX90HUN) and right armed (HX90HU) recliner chairs. the one I ordered and received matches the damaged one that I removed. but the buttons on the right are wired backwards. I am a technician, and an engineer, and I know right from wrong when I test the results of my work. However, I ordered 2 of these panels, I will install the second one and hope it is correct. I will let you know.
I ordered two (2) HX90HU switch panels, and one of the buttons is actually wired backwards; meaning that the button that supposed to raise the front side of the seat is actually lowering it, and vice versa, the one that is supposed to lower the seat is raising it. Just to be fair, the head rest buttons are correct.

Just to clarify, the HX90HU switch panel is specifically designed for the left side facing of the lift chair or power recliner. If it is installed on the right side facing, the buttons will act reversally as you have experienced. For the other side, the HX90HUN is the correct model number.

After a little troubleshooting. I was able to verify. That the switch in my recliner was no longer working. So I ordered and installed this switch. And everything is working good again.
The switch was installed in the chair and works perfectly. I have now replaced the switches in both of my chairs, and both work properly. I am concerned, however, as to why both of the original switches failed.
